Chief Warrant Officer Four Darysabel López
Chief Warrant Officer Four (CW4) Darysabel López serves as the Commonwealth Seventh State Command Chief Warrant Officer since 1 December 2025. She serves as the principal advisor to the Adjutant General on all matters pertaining to policies, programs, and actions impacting the warrant officer cohort including accessions, professional development, training, promotions, and career management. As the lead for warrant officer affairs, he works closely with the leadership of the National Guard Bureau and the Department of the Army’s Proponency Branches across the United States.
CW4 López enlisted in the Massachusetts Army National Guard in 1995 as an Administrative Specialist (71L) assigned to the 747th Military Police Company. She was appointed as a Human Resources Technician (420A) in 2008 after completing Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS) at Fort Rucker, Alabama. In the civilian sector, CW4 López served as a Police Officer with the Worcester Police Department in 2005 before transitioning to the Active Guard and Reserve (AGR) program in 2009. Since entering AGR, she has served in multiple Human Resources assignments of increasing responsibility, assignments as the State Warrant Officer Strength Manager; Chief, Officer Personnel Management Branch; and G1 Senior Personnel Advisor.
CW4 López operational and training experience includes a 2001 deployment to provide security at Logan International Airport in support of Operation Noble Eagle, a 2003 deployment to Kabul, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, a 2005 deployment to New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina relief operations, and overseas missions in Panama and Paraguay supporting international partnership and training initiatives.
CW4 López is a graduate of the Warrant Officer Senior Service Education and completed extensive enlisted and warrant officer professional military education throughout her career. Her awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (third award) the Army Commendation Medal (second award), and the Army Achievement Medal (ninth award) among numerous others. She is also the recipient of the 2016 Latina Style Distinguished Military Service Award and League of United Latin American Citizen Excellence in Service Award.
CW4 López holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management and is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at the Massachusetts School of Law. She resides in Southbridge, with her two dogs, Callie and Chewy.
