The Massachusetts National Guard and Endicott College signed a memorandum of understanding establishing the Military and Academic Partnership Pathway, an educational partnership between the Endicott and the Mass Guard December 18, 2024. MAPPS will bring new opportunities for Mass Guardsmen and their families to further their education at Endicott College.
The agreement includes a discounted tuition rate for eligible Mass Guard members and their families on degree programs including bachelor’s, masters and doctorates. Additionally, Endicott is offering credits for prior learning to Mass Guardsmen, which awards academic credits based on prior work experience. Endicott is making the enrollment process easier and more affordable for service members.
“Investing in our service members is one of my top priorities,” said Maj. Gen. Gary W. Keefe, The Adjutant General, Massachusetts National Guard. “The true strength of the Massachusetts National Guard rests on the collective capabilities of its members, and we are excited to partner with Endicott College because of the valuable opportunities this will provide our service members. Education is a critical component of future success, and this partnership ensures that our Soldiers and Airmen have access to the tools and resources they need to excel both personally and professionally.”
The Mass Guard is committed to making Endicott an enduring partner and will include them in Mass Guard events such as Yellow Ribbon, education fairs, and other education and career development events.
“We are honored to partner with the Massachusetts National Guard to make higher education more accessible to those who serve our nation,” said Steven R. DiSalvo, Ph.D., President of Endicott College. “This collaboration exemplifies Endicott’s deep commitment to supporting our military community and ensuring service members and their families have access to the resources they need to achieve their academic and career goals.”
This Partnership highlights the Mass Guard and Endicott’s commitments to Service members and their families.
